​Tara Levine is honored to represent the great state of Texas as Mrs. Texas American 2026. A devoted military wife of 20 years, proud mother of two, lawyer, and Vice President, Tara has built a life centered on leadership, service, family, and creating opportunities for others. A lifelong learner, she holds several degrees and professional certifications, with every intention of earning her PhD someday soon. Tara is the Founder and CEO of Talia’s Team, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) named in honor of her baby sister, Talia, who unexpectedly passed away. Founded in 2020, Talia’s Team provides mentorship, leadership development, education, and meaningful exposure to help young women see greater possibilities for their futures. Today, the program operates with 12 mentors, including doctors, scientists, professors, and other accomplished professionals, and has served more than 40 young girls since its inception. Service has remained a cornerstone of Tara’s life. With more than 100,000 volunteer hours, she has served her community through organizations including the National Urban League, Big Brothers Big Sisters, YMCA, San Antonio DreamWeek, and Help Portrait. In recognition of her commitment to service, Tara was honored with the 2026 Mrs. Texas Ambassador Award. At the heart of it all, Tara believes leadership is less about the titles we hold and more about how we use our lives to leave people and communities better than we found them. When she’s not pouring into the next generation of young women or serving her community, Tara is actually a pretty simple girl. She loves meditation, traveling with her family, amateur painting, getting lost in a good book, and is fluent in The Real Housewives. Because some forms of education simply cannot be taught in a classroom.
